Join the Transit Action Alliance of Guelph (TAAG) and Guelph Community for Active Transportation (GCAT) for the Guelph Transportation Summit on Saturday, October 18, 2025. This free community event will explore how better transit, cycling, and urban development can create a more vibrant, affordable, and sustainable city for everyone.
This summit is designed as a journey through the essential elements of a better transportation system. You will hear from a diverse range of experts, including advocates, planners, and academics.
You will hear from our speakers on critical topics such as:
From rider to champion: How to advocate for better transit in your city. Fixing the broken transit funding model: Why Canadian transit systems are trapped in cycles of underfunding. Active transportation & micro-mobility: How cycling and other personal mobility options are reshaping our cities. Transit-oriented development: How urban design can create a more connected and equitable community.
We know your time is precious, so you are welcome to pick and choose which speakers you wish to see. A full schedule is available on our website.
